Melissa Webber is a certified teaching member of Alexander Technique International, graduating from the Philadelphia School for the Alexander Technique. She has introduced the Alexander Technique (AT) to groups and individuals throughout the United States. Melissa’s teaching background also includes Suzuki string pedagogy training and experience as a string teacher in the NJ public schools for 8 years after completing a degree in Instrumental Music Education from Indiana University Jacob’s School of Music.

Melissa has taught many specialized group and private AT lessons for athletes (runners and rock climbers), musicians of all types (an AT course for high school instrumental students at Interlochen Arts Camp; Suzuki string classes for teachers, students and parents, and university music students), as well as more general activity-based AT lessons (walking, sitting, standing, computer work, texting…).
